Location

Flamingo Hostel is located halfway up Krupówki Street, which is THE street in Zakopane! Whether you’re wanting something to eat, something to drink, somewhere to dance, somewhere to hire skis, or somewhere to shop – you’ll find it all right on our street!  

Firstly a word of advice: if you are arriving in Zakopane from Krakow we recommend you travel by bus, not train. Buses are more frequent and much faster than trains. 

The train station and bus station in Zakopane are right next to each other. After you leave either station you will be at the start of Tadeusz Kościuszki Street (ulica Tadeusza Kościuszki). To reach Flmingo Hostel walk along Tadeusz Kościuszki Street (turn right from the bus station, straight ahead from the train station) until you reach Krupówki Street (ulica Krupówki) – it’s the most exciting street in Zakopane, you can’t miss it! (About 10 minutes walk from the stations.) Turn left when you reach Krupówki Street and we’re about 50m along on your right, number 24 – just look for the flamingos!
